Pyxism vs. Timeshare Resort
If you were asked to choose between time shares and Pyxism, what would you choose, and what would your decision be based on? A lot of us know what a timeshare is – its one of the vacation travel models that gained momentum in the late 80’s and early 90’s to enable people to travel to different destinations, and although it continues to be popular today, its important to compare it to newer travel models so that we can see whether it still continues to hold its place as a way to see the world.
Today we’ll compare Pyxism as one of the newer ways of vacation travel to owning time shares, then you will be able to make an educated decision on which choice is best for you, and why. Let’s start by looking at time shares.
To judge something objectively, it’s important to know how it works. A time share is basically a vacation home that you own, you and a number of other people. You are restricted to vacationing during an allotted time each year, usually a week at a time. It is an appealing concept in its own right – you get to own a tiny portion of a great home in a great vacation location, and you know that you will definitely be going there at a certain time of the year.
You can have two forms of time share – either own a fraction of the property, or rent it. If you own a fraction of the property, you have to deal with all kinds of property laws that come with the country in which your timeshare is located. You will pay taxes, you will have to abide by the laws of ownership of the property, you are responsible for maintaining the property and so on. If you choose to rent, it’s a little easier because you are treated as a tenant. All you need to do is pay your annual maintenance premium, which averages around $400-$700 per year, and you have your week annually when you can use the property.
Time shares come with some flexibility; if you have a week and you don’t want to use it yourself, you can sell it to someone who is interested, but it also brings on the added hassle of having to find someone who is willing to take your timeshare at that particular time, and that is not always easy. This may involve advertising, which will eat into your income from renting the week off.
Time share properties exist all over the world, but as you can see, they are really about spending an initial huge chunk of money and then enjoying the property, at the same location. The biggest advantage of having a time share is that vacations don’t come with accommodation costs.
In comparison, let’s have a look at Pyxism. Pyxism has made contracts with the leading resort owners, offering you the ability to travel for a 7 night stay at over 4,000 locations around the world for anywhere between $200 – $800 for a weeks stay. The owners of these resorts are the same people that sell their timeshare properties for up to $10,000 dollars.
As a Pyxism member you gain access to dream vacations at luxury resorts that are already pre-packaged for immediate savings. These are the exact same properties that are sold through timeshares for thousands of dollars.
Pyxism takes away the hassle of having to own a timeshare. With a Pyxism membership you don’t have to choose to go to the same location every year, you can choose from thousands of different locations without paying any transfer fees, or trying to find someone to switch timeshare locations with you. As a Pyxism member you also have the luxury of taking multiple vacations in a year, instead of being restricted to once per year at the same location.
When you become a member of Pyxism you also join a business opportunity that can earn you upwards to $12,000 on a weekly basis. You can earn this by recruiting like-minded individuals into the Pyxism business.
In addition, you become the owner of a travel portal similar to Expedia or Orbitz, except instead of someone else getting the commission from booked travel you will earn up to 50% of the commission. You also can earn lifetime residual income from the people you recruit that decide to own a travel portal.
Pyxism has a clear advantage over owning a time share property. In fact, in the former, you are making money while in the latter, you are spending it. I think we can safely opt for Pyxism as the new way to travel and take vacations.
